About the Founder

Andrew

Andrew lives and works on Wall Street. As a former Vice President at Deutsche Bank (located at 60 Wall St), he traded structured credit bonds, specifically CDOs, and helped manage a billion dollar trading business. Andrew loves to teach and has taught Economics at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) where he earned his SB and MBA degrees.

In 2009, he founded THE WALL STREET EXPERIENCE, a Wall Street tour company with the mission to demystify Wall Street. It quickly became the leading tour company of Wall Street and a top New York City attraction. In addition to providing tours for tourists and corporations, THE WALL STREET EXPERIENCE also provided educational programs to many school groups including the world's top universities, business schools and executive education programs. THE WALL STREET UNIVERSITY is a formalization of those programs.

The inside story of Andrew's trading desk is told in The Big Short: Inside the Doomsday Machine by Michael Lewis and The Greatest Trade Ever by Gregory Zuckerman. THE WALL STREET EXPERIENCE was filmed for the DVD feature in Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps directed by Oliver Stone, and was filmed for The Flaw, a 2011 Sundance Film Festival Documentary entrant.

THE WALL STREET UNIVERSITY was founded to help students and career-switching professionals prepare for a Wall Street career. We help our students understand and uncover the opportunities on Wall Street and give them the skills and industry knowledge to get the job.
